After nearly a decade in production editorial and copyediting departments at publishers Penguin Group and Random House, I traded New York’s subways for the bike lanes of Portland, Oregon, and set up my freelance editing business.
I regularly work on novels and nonfiction books for both young and adult readers. See my portfolio to learn more about the books I’ve worked on.
A side project of mine is CoverSpy, which I cocreated in 2009 and helped grow into a team with chapters in other cities. The best part of running a book blog is watching the community come together, both online and at the events we created and hosted in New York City.
I’m also a writer! My poetry and stories appear in Slice magazine and two Six-Word Memoir books, and I spent the past three years studying Minimalism and developing my stories in Chuck Palahniuk’s writing workshop here in Portland.
When I’m not editing or writing, I might be playing soccer, hiking in the Pacific Northwest, or watching stand-up comedy.
